Santa Maria Draperis Church (Our Lady Draperis Latin Catholic Church),
It is a historically Latin Catholic church located in Beyoglu, Istanbul. Built in 1584, it is one of the oldest active churches in Istanbul. When you follow the stairs going downhill at the end of Istiklal Street, the entrance of the building is in neoclassical style - you meet the statue of the Virgin Mary in a niche in the wall. The building is rectangular. It is planned and covered with a barrel vault and is decorated with 3 naves, which was built in 1874. The church has a bell tower that is not visible from the street. In 1772, the altar was decorated with pink marble from Carrara, Italy, and decorated with a statue given by the Draperis family.

The first picture on the right after entering the church is depicted with the Virgin Mary and two Franciscan saints in 1873. The second picture represents Francis of Assisi receiving the stigmata in La Verna. On the other side of the entrance is St. Roch, and ahead of it is the Virgin Mary and Jesus and Joseph. It can be seen that he was with him when he died. The way of the cross, the statue of St. Antonio of Padua and the mural in the baptistery were painted by Franciscan Father Alberto Farina in 1959.
The two stained glass windows in the apse belong to the German school and represent Francis of Assisi and Saint Clare. Inside the church, several inscribed tombstones from the 18th and 19th centuries (mostly in Italian or Latin) represent wealthy Levantine families, benefactors of the church, bishops and consuls of European nations in Constantinople. reminds.
