Toilet paper hoarders needed to find something to do with all the left over toilet paper. It is cute. Instead of gluing maybe find away to make the yarn stay without destroying the paper. Then you can use after fall.

If the glue is on the inside of the toilet paper roll it should be fine to use after fall? You could also just tie off the yarn instead of glue? Save styrofoam from shipping materials stick it inside roll get sticks from outside in yard bug free stick in styrofoam, maybe attach real leaves to yarn some how...mostly upcycly except for yarn...and use toilet paper after holiday
