Steve Clarke hails ‘outstanding’ Andy Robertson for important pre-match role in Armenia win

STEVE CLARKE singled out Andy Robertson as his captain fantastic following Scotland’s 2-0 win over Armenia.
Anthony Ralston and Scott McKenna were the goalscoring heroes in their opening Nations League group stage victory.
But boss Clarke hailed skipper Robbo for his performance and behind-the-scenes leadership.
He said: “I’ve got the mention the captain - he was outstanding.
“He was outstanding in the dressing room before the game.
“Himself, John McGinn and Callum McGregor are leaders, taking us onto the pitch in a good frame of mind.
