the greatest compliment a chef and the plethora of people who helped create the ingredients can have is that look. Distant and disconnected as the chemicals are released by the persons brain and they pause in momentary awe of what just happened to their mouth. I swear to you all, there are foods out there that will change your perspective. It just takes courage.

This looks so good. But honestly, anyone who has any idea about how to make a steak can do this. Just sear the outside, turn down the heat, wait till medium rare, rest, serve. When you have meat of this quality, nothing else needs to be done.

While I love Wagyu and Kobe when I can get my hands on it during my travels, I still prefer a nice cast iron fried rib-eye or a sirloin. Something with more chew to it.
