Great video, love Kelly, and always Loved Andy, classy move by Irons not to mention the judges in the interview, but no way was that a 9.5

9.5 for falling at the end? No way, maybe 8.5

This may have been the peak of rail surfing ... makes me want to get some boards like this for bigger point days !

You know Kelly knows it wasn’t a 9.5 when saying “yeah the wave was a blur.”

Incredible video and story, very nostalgic, bring more content from the ASP era, mainly from Championships that the sea broke classico.🤟🏼🌊

Not a 9.5. See, judging has always been an issue with the ASP/WSL.

If WSL cared about their fans and growing the sport, wouldn’t they have already made the sickest documentary about the 2003 World Title race that everyone still says 20yrs later was the best world title race ever and only one to this day that came down to the final heat of the season that featured the two greatest surfers of all time, AI and Kelly Slater in a year where not a single competitor besides AI/Kelly even came close to winning a single event that entire season leading up to Pipeline #AIForever

Three turns and an incompletion = 9.5? Biggest robbery in WSL history!

The People know that the People’s Champ really won FOUR straight world titles #AIForever

That was bs. No doubt Kelly is the man. But Andy won that.

That was sick! The scoring was for sure different back then... Those 9s would have been 7s today

I feel like they posted this to rid of the claims that the "judging was better in the ASP" Everyone knows that wasn't a 9.5

No doubt Andy Irons won this heat you can't give a 9.5 falling at your last maneuver!!! It's been a shame from the judges!!! For sure Andy Irons would have won his 4th world title if it wasn't for this silly way of judging! It would be good if Kelly could admit it sincerely. So i give 4th world titles to Andy Irons and 10 for Kelly but who knows how Kelly's and Andy's future would have gone if they had rightly given the victory to Andy
