I recently tried this on a cream coloured paper bag and the result is paper that looks like marble or granite! It looks amazing.

'I'm not going to worry about it right now, because I'm just not going to worry about it'. A proverb for life.

Besides making wonderful tutorials, you are one of the MOST pleasant people to LISTEN to here on YouTube. I can't tell you how many tutorials I watch with the sound off because I can't stand to actually listen! You are great!

As someone who finds herself makin' sound effects and talkin' in crazy accents & dialects, absentmindedly, while playing in the craft room, I appreciate the unedited silliness of each moment your videos bring. You're every inspiring and empowering, which is refreshing, to say the least. There's nothing I dislike more, than some of the condescending overtones of some craft tutorials out there. This is important, in my little world, as I find myself trying to inspire & encourage those around me. 💙 It's still quite early here on this cold, Saturday mornin' in the west Texas oilfield but I definitely know what I'm going to play around with, later today! Thank you, for being unique & not conforming to the pressures of being Ms. Perfect, tidy crafter. We all know, that's certainly not realistic.

I've done similar covers. I coffee dyed the bag first and used acrylic paint instead of the ink pads. Used junk mail card stock, and coffee dyed printer paper. Coated the cover in mod podge to make it waterproof. I have to work on a dollar tree budget, so I collect junk mail, cereal boxes, fast food bags, etc. to use for covers. I love creating things out of what others consider 'trash'.

So awesome. I'm so excited to try this. If no one else has, I'm going to call you the Bob Ross of paper 😅

Junk Journals and more, for sure! My dad made the entire wall behind his and mom's fireplace look like leather with this technique back in the early 80s. He always had unique tastes, which embarrassed me as a kid, but they rubbed off on me, and I grew to appreciate his eclectic tastes as an adult.

I am absolutely wild over how simple this is- the product is absolutely gorgeous, and most importantly I had easy access to all of the materials. Thank you so much for sharing this, it was a fun craft that wasn't difficult to do!

Pam, I learn more from watching your videos than any others. You create so many different things, all from just paper! Its amazing how easy you make your tutorials to follow. Thank you so much for all you show us to do with paper!

I used to make this all the time in my craft business. When I crinkle it I spray the bag with water first to dampen. The wrinkles are much smaller. More like an alligator skin. I then ironed it. I might do that a second time. Never used conditioner but that is something I will try. I left it plain and used modpoge and last used an antiquing glazeover the top. Back when I learned in 1990's we were not using our stamping inks for much more than stamps. 🤣 I am thinking a permanent ink if you stamped the paper first might be interesting to try. sort of like a brand on the leather.1 You have got me thinking!

Okay, I love leather and suede and I love making things out of paper bags so this has now become my new all time favorite. Thanks Pam!

Well, well, well! Aren’t you just full of cool ideas this morning?! 💕 Saved this for later when my brain is functional (not enough coffee guzzled down yet, but I’ll get there 😄). Don’t think I have a grocery bag... wait! I know I have some nice thick packing paper (thank you Amzn!) squirreled away for JIC (just in case). Slightly crumpled already. Hair conditioner ... don’t use it anymore (have really short hair). Being a pack rat, and a member of JIC battalion, surely there’s some left in my old hair care stash. Sorry. Thinking aloud.... 🤪 Thank you!
