What a great example of clear thinking and respect for the importance of independence of thought. Nothing has changed since he said those words in '07 to dispute any of his conclusions.

I think this is an incredibly important distinction to make. I don't deny the climate is changing or even that man is accelerating that change, I disagree with the left's proposed "solutions." In other words I'm not a climate change denier, I'm denying that our politicians have the correct solution to the problem.

Science is never "settled", its just our current best understanding at the moment. I find it alarming that people are trying to stop anti alarmist science from investigating the climate.

Those predicting catastrophes have repeatedly been proven wrong when the catastrophes didn't happen on their schedule. There used to be signs saying that the glaciers for which Glacier National Park was named would no longer exist in 2020 due to global warming. They had to take down the signs because not only were they wrong in 2020 they are still wrong in 2023.

Technically, we are still in a major ice age. There have been 5 in the last 2.5 billion years. Some of the biggest oil fields in the world are in northern Canada and Alaska. That suggests that the world was much warmer. And there are artifacts of pine trees from the arctic found around the Gulf Coast from the last glaciation; which means it was probably much colder too. Thus, I see no reason to panic, unless the anointed desire to spread panic.
