I grew up with Castlevania…I’m 35. Lot of yelling in the house growing up. The handheld…Simon’s Quest, symphony of the night…these games were my escape. I’m talking dishes thrown, “am I guna get hit next” kind of rage going on outside my room… and this was my escape. I grew up, had a family, wife and 4 kids, got a house…and my family is free of all that cause of me. And LIFE brings its struggles and fears…and I am very grateful to God for giving me (us) this anime…for me…it’s still my escape and sanctuary.

A lot of people said that the vocals in nocturne are not great but I disagree. I found the opera pieces of it to be a stunning background to the feeling of loss the young protagonists are feeling during the battles. It all but brought me to tears. Beautiful voice
