Trump says Israel should ‘hit’ Iran nuclear facilities

Former president Donald Trump said he believes Israel should strike Iran’s nuclear facilities in response to an Iranian missile attack on Tuesday.

The Republican presidential candidate made the remarks on Friday at a campaign event in North Carolina, referring to a question posed to Democratic President Joe Biden this week about the possibility of Israel targeting Iran’s nuclear programme.
