My nephew has neurofibromatoses and has just had his 23 birthday. He has a lot of small tumours throughout his body, and one of them is right at the base of his head on the spinal column. He’s epileptic since he was 4, is high functioning autistic and in the last 5 years he must be in considerable pain because his chest is getting really narrow as if being compressed in from the sides. His seizures are getting worse, and the symptoms are becoming more, but he is one of the loveliest kids you could ever meet. (I know he’s an adult, but I can’t help calling him a kid) The way he’s progressing I fear his life will be cut short, but I’m praying for him 😊

2, 000 calories per day is considered normal. If that is 10X too much, that's saying the average human only needs 200 calories to survive. The average 4" glazed donut contains about 250 calories. What I'm saying is I THINK YOUR NUMBERS ARE OFF!

I MET he came to our school and played some music for us and explained that some people are born differently and you should embrace your differences. He has a leg he calls his drum stick, he's very talented. God that was like... 2005? 2009? Somewhere in there I'll never forget that❤

Samuel Mann. I read his mother’s book.
What this video does not address is that Samuel is severely developmentally disabled.
He may have been eleven years old in this video, but his mind is of a little baby.
And the MDs recommended a therapeutic abortion, not adoption.
I am pro-choice, so I support the parents’ choice, but it’s sure as heck not what I would do.
