I love this. My niece painted a cross like this same shape on canvas last year for Christmas. Now I want to dress up that cross with flowers and believe I will do just that. LOLL. I will post a pic when I get the chance to get it done.

Well this is just beautiful. I Never would of thought of this! Love those the shapes you could do are endless. Fall colors would be pretty in the shape of a leaf or like you said....Christmas colors in the shape of a cross or Christmas tree. Too cool! Hope you start feeling better soon! Loving this mixed media Easter Cross.  Looks fun and something I should try.  I could really see a big butterfly or dragonfly this way to.
