Sona isn't there for five minutes and this podcast turns into an NPR whisper fest.

It's like they did this in a library. So quiet. Sona's laugh really brightens up the room.

I love that when they started talking about crinkling bags and sound disturbances, they both started whispering into their mics like they didn’t want to be too loud. Soon as they moved on to talking about diamonds, they were back to full volume. Weird how our minds work

I love how they went into the “podcast voice” when they started talking about the podcast snack purse.

Conesy O.B. Ryan and Matthew Eustace Wenceslaus Gourley are the best improv duo.

O'Brien, from the Gaelic Ó Briaín, is the fourth most common surname in Ireland. The name originates from the Ó Briaín dynasty of the province Munster. It is directly sourced from Briaín Ború, the 9th century High King of Ireland. Before that Ború was King of Munster. The name Conan dates from the same century and means "hound" or "little wolf". As Sona might say, "you're welcome". Ó Briaín "family" castles still populate the Munster landscape and are most common in counties Clare, Limerick, Cork, Tipperary and Kerry.

I find it disturbing and hilarious that I know Conan's middle name all because of Wiki-Bear.

I always loved the way Joel announced his name on the old show: “CO-NAN O-BRI-YEN!”

The improv scene at the end is one of my absolute favorite moments. I come back to this at least once a month.

In another world this show is called "Dara Ó Briain Needs A Friend"

I've been bingeing these podcasts and I can't stop 😳

I suppose the naming thing began with Conan since his older brothers are Neal and Luke. His younger ones have names that elide with O'Brien: Kate (Katherine), Jane, and Justin.

I love seeing someone, in Matt, that has a chemistry on par with Andy and Jordan. How lucky are we to be alive!?

Quiet bags are very much a thing in TV/movies. Prop bags are made not to ruin the audio of a take. Think about the last time you heard a loud crinkle from a bag of chips on a TV show. :)

Am I the only one who's learning vocabulary from the show? A few shows ago it was inure. Today it's elide. Such great, subtle words.

Matt seriously proposing cotton is hilarious

Instead of using a small cotton bag for snacking, I’m just going to grab a pillowcase and fill it full of Cheetos.

The flaw in the cotton snack purse is that it may eliminate the crinkle but Doritos or other chips will make sounds on their own.
