ജീവിതത്തിൽ ആദ്യമായാണ് ഇത്രയും വിലയുള്ള ഒരു ഫോൺ ഞാൻ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്...15k ക്ക് മേലെ ഇതുവരെ ഞാൻ ഫോൺ വാങ്ങിയിട്ടില്ല.. നാട്ടിൽ 1lack ഒക്കെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന സമയത്ത്
ഞാൻ 85000 നാണ് 9 മാസം മുന്നേ s23 ultra എടുത്തത് ഒമാനിൽ നിന്ന്.. എനിക്ക് ഞാൻ ഇതുവരെ ഉപയോഗിച്ച ഫോണുകളിൽ നിന്നും നല്ലൊരു ചേഞ്ച് ഫീൽ ചെയ്തു.. നല്ല ഡിസ്പ്ലേ.. നല്ല പെർഫോമൻസ് ഒക്കെ.. പിന്നെ ഒരു artist ആയത് കൊണ്ട് തന്നെ ഡിജിറ്റൽ drawingum എഡിറ്റിംഗ് purpus നും എനിക്ക് spen നല്ല useful ആണ്... പിന്നെ ഇതിലെ ഫോട്ടോസും നല്ല മികച്ചതാണ്..ഒരു പ്രശ്നം തോന്നിയത് film കാണുമ്പോഴും game കളിക്കുമ്പോഴും അധികനേരം കയ്യിൽ പിടിച്ച് നിക്കാൻ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടായി തോന്നി.. Weight കാരണം.. പിന്നെ edge boxy ആയത് കൊണ്ട് ചെറിയ വീഴ്ചയിൽ തന്നെ cover ന്റെ കൂടെ ആണെങ്കിലും dent വരുന്നുണ്ട്.. Curve ആയിരുന്നാൽ നന്നായിരുന്നു എന്ന് തോന്നി... ബാക്കി എല്ലാം കൊണ്ടും വളരെ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു.. ഒരുപാട് നാൾ കാത്തിരുന്നു ഒത്തിരി റിവ്യൂ ഒക്കെ കേട്ട് കഴിഞ്ഞാണ് ഞാൻ ഇത് വാങ്ങിയത്... അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ മേടിച്ച ശേഷം ഇതുവരെ വേണ്ടായിരുന്നു എന്ന് തോന്നിയിട്ടില്ല... 🥰🥰🥰🥰

the only component that degrades over time is the battery, you'd have to replace the battery in the 7 years time but everything else should work just fine, it's the companies that want you to believe that phones only last 2 to 3 years and they do everything to make it seem like planned obsolescence isn't a thing, they do this by slowing down the processor, retract efficiency software, make the camera processing worse, they also make the battery as irreparable as possible (which the eu and other right to repair activists are pushing against and we've seen some positive changes and the 7 years software support is by far the biggest change) it's good for the environment, good for the customer (basically no downsides)
idk why you're griping about the 7 years software support, you lose nothing if you don't care to keep it that long, the smartphone industry has matured and there won't be much significant hardware upgrades and for people who's gonna buy it second hand or in 3-4 years time (when the prices would have dropped and when it's actually worth buying), the phone would still have the latest software for another 3-4 years
i agree it's "boring" and it's definitely NOT WORTH THE PRICE but complaining about more software support??? you weren't as critical about the ai features being paywalled after 2025 (the era of subscription, which i think is going to be the next "planned obsolescence")
you have a lot of good takes and you give really good purchasing decisions for consumers but one thing you should be more clear about is changes made by companies that is a W for all consumers, ie changes outside purchase decisions that impact the consumer (hope that makes sense)
