Looking at 03:23, it appears that if the value varies between 9 and 11 for 3 days and then jumps to 30, only the 30 will get sent. If the tag is Step=0 then a trend will show this as a line sloping steadily up from 10 to 30 over a 3-day period. Interfaces also used to send the previous value (possibly generating it themselves if the server has not provided it) but I understand that connectors did not do this and it seems that Adapters don't either.

If we set Step=1 then I think compression also works differently, not applying the Swinging Door algorithm.

Is there a way around this or should we be configuring all these tags as Step=1 and suffering less efficient compression?
