I suggest that you remove the window size and make it normal. Doing this will let it run well on android. But in doing this, you must estimate otherwise your widgets might look too big or too small

Would she be willing to list some of her code? As in anything within the kv or python code having to do with scaling, measurements, or screen size? And maybe relevant parts of the android manifest file? I think that would be much more productive in helping to find an answer as well as protecting her project code.

I had this issue. I was using core and window
Size. Once I removed it it gave me the full screen.

Hope this help: in the root screen of the kv file (.kv) size: root.width, root.height

Check whether they used Window.size() in their code . I face this issue and by removing the window.size() I got it fixed .
