Agree 💯. These conversations are crucial. I'm independent, voted for Harris, spoke today with a very close friend who is a republican trump voter who asked me "Can we agree that there is waste and fraud to be rooted out so that our budgets aren't so bloated?" I said I absolutely agree with that and hope that BOTH PARTIES will get involved in taking an honest look, rather than broad-brushing one another with all or nothing all the time.

🙄 can we please stop pretending as if Elon is the person for this job. That’s not why he’s there. He’s there to get his government contracts filled. Looking at his track record, being responsible with finances is not his strong suit. Making things more efficient in theory is a great idea. But Elon is not the person for that and let’s stop pretending that he is. That’s not what he’s doing at all. He might cut some money from other people to put it in his own pocket, but that’s about it. you want somebody to really hone in on the money? then get someone who is specifically financially minded, not rocket man.
