Try this easy recipe for jalapeño poppers #shorts

An appetizer classic: jalapeño poppers. There are a lot of recipes for jalapeño poppers out there, and today I am sharing with you the simplest way I’ve found to make them. You can prep them the night before you want to make them - or even the morning of. Make it easier on yourself, and spend more time with your guests at your next party party or Gameday gathering
What You'll Need (NOTE: these are the amounts I used in the video; I cut the original recipe in half)
- 10 fresh jalapenos, 2 to 3 inches in size
- one 8-ounce packages cream cheese, slightly softened (if you really wanted to add some more flavor, you could mix some herbs and/or spices into your cream cheese, before eating it into your jalapeños)
- 1/2 pound* thin (regular) bacon (I used thick-cut, which took longer to cook and crisp up), slices cut in half
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
*NOTE: you need as many slices of bacon as you have number of jalapeños (i.e. if you have 10 jalapeños, you need 10 full slices of bacon)
What You'll Do:
1. Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F. Set a wire rack over a baking sheet (you can still make these if you don’t have a wire rack - I made mine without one)
2. If you have them, slip on some latex gloves for the pepper prep. Cut the jalapenos in half lengthwise. With a spoon, remove the seeds and white membranes (the source of the heat; leave a little if you like things HOT).
3. Smear cream cheese into each jalapeno half and then wrap with a 1/2 bacon slice
4. If you want to, and have toothpicks, secure by sticking a toothpick through the middle. Place on the rack in the baking sheet (I did not have toothpicks, so I placed my poppers onto my pan, bacon-seam-side down
5. Bake until the bacon is sizzling and done, 1 hour 15 minutes (mine took 1 hour and 30 minutes)
5.5 once the bacon is cooked, sprinkle with a pinch of shredded cheddar cheese and bake or broil for 10 more minutes
6. Serve immediately, or they're also great at room temperature.
