'The Originals' Teaser Released - The Vampire Diaries 4x20

We are less than one week away from getting a peek at the pilot for the new potential Vampire Diaries spin-off titled the Originals. The pilot will air via TVD in what's being dubbed a backdoor pilot, and thanks to our pals over at the CW, we're finally getting an inside look at what we can expect next Thursday night. It looks like the episode will kick off with Klaus leaving Mystic Falls and heading back to a city and some old friends that made him who he's become -- take a look:

So there you have it -- Klaus is returning to his old digs in New Orleans to try to get back the superior status he once had, which is something is former protégé Marcel, who we also see in the clip, now has. That said, it looks like we should all get ready for a little battle. The Originals airs on April 25th at 8PM on the CW, so will you be watching? Let us know by commenting below! it is a pilot for the series, but it is airing in the Vampire Diaries time slot next week

I just want to clear something up. The next episode of TVD is titles the originals because it is like a pilot episode. If enough people watch it then there will be a spin off series from tvd for the original family but there will still be cross overs for the shows. I hope this helped!

everyone the, pilot episide for the originals is gonna be joined into this weeks episode of tvd, then after the next episode of tvd the originals will be seperate. but the pilot will be incorporated into this weeks tvd. so yes. tvd and the originals will be on for next weeks episodee

yeah it will be its own show, IF its picked up that is, and if it is then yeah it most likely will air the same night as tvd

I think I'll watch it but I don't know if I am going to watch the whole show. It depents on where they will go with the show itself. But probably I'm going to be hooked on it 'cause of the characters in it.
