EU Golden Visas via property investment still exist in Greece, Cyprus, Malta and Latvia! Depsite Spain and Portugal cancelling or modifying their programs, these four EU countries still maintain programs that allow foreigners to acquire residency through the purchase of real estate. In this video I review each of the programs and explain the requirements, property prices and other points of interest about each country.

Thanks, Jonny! I am a Canadian living and working in Valencia, Spain, and my wife (American) is far advanced in gaining Polish citizenship. Assuming she does, we'll be able to retire anywhere in the EU without needing any type of visa (golden or otherwise). Of these choices, I would prefer Riga, Latvia, though. We prefer cities where we don't need cars. Greece is too touristy, Malta has no green spaces, and Cyprus is pretty small. Note that after the Brexit vote was passed, many wealthy pro-Brexit supporters took advantage of the Cyprus Golden Visa to retain EU status.

Malta is the largest holder of super yachts in the world and soon of private jets at its going rate.This nation state in the EU and has always been about keeping a low profile because it for wealthy people who want the freedom of a normal life without any concerns or costs for security. Constant booming economy is also rare to find with a long list of options. The door is very closed for criminals more then ever with every year that passes and banks are ultra safe but can be demanding if application in filled without care. Rumours are that YouTube influencers are HQing in Sliema because its an english speaking country and legal recognition is in the process.
