I feel like some fans forget that there’s a sea of them. Because kpop feels so ‘personal’ and these idols feel so ‘close to you’ when you watch them on screen, you become entitled to their existence. Did any of you ever go to a kpop concert and reality actually hit you and made you realize that these people are actual celebrities you don’t know and they don’t know you and there’s tens of thousands more people that feel the same way you do? The ‘feeling special’ feeling really fades away quick and it gives you a reality check. It’s healthy.
