This is wildly inaccurate and you need to research this topic more and remake this video if you care about giving your subscribers accurate information. First of all let's address the notion that blue collar workers use muscles for labor but not their brains. Do you know how to safely pressure test a hydraulic cylinder used in industrial applications in which operating pressure normally exceeds 3000 PSI? That pressure is absolutely deadly if something fails or the test is done incorrectly. Now imagine pressuring up a hydraulic cylinder that's about 20 feet long while retracted and pressuring it up to 27, 000 PSI. This cylinder has approximately a dozen different ports for various size fittings and to perform your pressure test you must either cap, plug, or plumb these various ports with the appropriate lines or hardware to safely test the cylinder. You've got to have knowledge of fluid dynamics, physics, mathematics, and more. You have to know how to use all the test equipment and so on. Yes, these are things I've done in performance of my job. I've never spent a single day of my life in college. So to say blue collar workers don't have to be intelligent is wrong and insulting. That's not the only inaccuracy in your video either.

There are more differences between a blue-collar job in a developed country and a emerging country AND a blue-collar job and white-collar job in the same country. A blue-collar worker in Germany, for example, requires more skills, critical thinking, and decision making than a white-collar worker in an emerging country. The point is, it's way more complex than what this video outlines.

This is the 1 of the most ridiculous things I have seen. She says the white collar needs a brain, and blue needs muscle. First off I went to college after many years in construction and I can promise you that a brain is required more in construction than repetitive mindless tasks in an office. I ran power points, financials, and beyond as a white collar with a fixed income and treated as a slave by employers. I also never worked hourly or by the day as a blue collar but rather, per job. The most I ever made as white collar was $98, 000 yet as a blue collar hit $318, 000. This is the opinion of a prejudice person whom has no idea what they are talking about, it’s insulting. The explanations here are obviously not by an educated person but rather that of a prejudice person whom is obviously subjugated. This is most likely a woman who’s husband is controlling and she stays home catering to his every need with no life of her own, nothing better to do than give an opinion on matters she knows nothing about. I had a 4.0 through college and afterwards went back to blue collar. I was selected for Who’s who in America and made it to the top 3 and removed myself from the competition.

With white collar you are always monitored, work beyond your salary, office politics, brown nosing, and beyond. Blue collar you go to work, do your job, and go home. White collar you always bring your job home, blue collar you merely go home and relax. I never make comments yet after seeing this and the pure prejudice of it had to say that this is the problem with this world, people like this.
