RBC has released a series of smoking-hot welcome offers on their Avion-branded personal travel credit cards.

The RBC Avion Visa Infinite, Visa Platinum, and Visa Infinite Privilege are all offering 35,000 Avion points upon approval, and then 20,000 Avion points upon spending $5,000 in the first six months.

These are some of the most attractive welcome bonuses on the market this season, paving a way towards flying in some of the world's best premium cabins for almost no money out-of-pocket.

In this video, we'll go over everything you need to know about these new RBC Avion bonuses, including the benefits of each card and the appropriate application strategies to maximize the offers before the expire on September 16.

Is there any videos coming up that compare this RBC vs. the TD travel Credit card offers currently available?

For anyone who has this card or anything similar consider the T&Cs. "Additional cardholder(s), as well as existing RBC Avion Visa Infinite or RBC Avion Visa Platinum, Cathay Pacific Visa Platinum, British Airways Visa Infinite, RBC Rewards Visa Preferred, RBC Rewards+ Visa, RBC Avion Visa Infinite Privilege and RBC Avion Visa Infinite Privilege for Private Banking credit cardholders, applying for or transferring to an RBC Avion Visa Infinite credit card, RBC Avion Visa Infinite Privilege credit card or RBC Avion Visa Platinum credit card as of the start of the Offer Period, are not eligible for this offer. "

One thing to be aware when redeeming RBC points on AC flights: they don’t accumulate SQD or SQM, even though technically AC considers them as “cash” fares when booked through RBC Avion. We had multiple flights in J on AC booked through Avion that did not count towards AC Aeroplan elite status (they did prior to 2019).

Keep up the great work, I appreciate the direct content and tips without any run arounds.

I was just looking for a new card because I discovered when attempting to book a flight to Europe that my RBC avion card actually only covers up to $650 towards a flight, then you must pay the difference. Be aware of these limits especially in light of airline tickets being very expensive these days. It turned out to be a better deal for me to pay my friend to buy more aeroplan points than to use my avion points. What the hell is the point of this travel card then?

@Ricky... Previously you had mentioned RBC credit cards are eligible for these Welcome bonuses even when you switch products or apply for a 2nd card while you already have one. But now in their disclaimer it states, previous RBC card holders and product transfers are not eligible. Can you please confirm if you or anyone you knows got the bonuses by doing a product transfer or by applying for this as a 2nd RBC card... I'm wondering if this is something new and worth taking a risk...

FYI, they didn’t let me get both. They consider the platinum the same kind of card as the infinite just different salary requirements.

With the redemption pathway to Qatar Airways QSuites, these points are so much more valuable now

Could I do the sign up bonuses, use the 55, 000 points to book a flight, and then product switch to a no annual card to avoid paying a higher annual fee? I’m assuming annual fees are prorated

The one time I already hold... both cards! I think I'll do a product switch and try my luck applying for at least one of them again before Sept. 16 ;)

If I already have an AVION Infinite already and now apply for the AVION Infinite Privilege, would I get the new card bonus from the Infinite Privilege?
