Hi everybody, it's Jill, and today I'm going to talk about reductions. Reductions are part of my flow technique,  and an example of a reduction is gonna, wanna, haveta. Now, the problem is that when I teach reductions,  my clients often worry that they might sound like they are using slang or using street talk. And I'm here to tell you that if you focus on the words that follow those reductions, people won't even notice. If you say,  "I wanna think about that, I haveta get back to you." You don't even notice it, do you? So,  listen carefully to how entertainers, politicians,  public speakers use these reductions to get the flow in their speech. And if nothing else,  just know that they're doing it so that you can understand them better. Good luck.
