Classic Car Addict is excited to present this beautiful 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. This resto mod tribute has undergone a five-year 1000-hour full nut and bolt restoration. It features a 6.4 liter 485 HP 392 HEMI backed by a 6-speed manual transmission and has MANY upgrades.
This Challenger is a tribute to the 1971 film, Vanishing Point which was one of the best car cult classic car chase movies ever filmed. In 1994, Terminal Velocity film featured a white '70 Challenger and referenced a Vanishing Point Challenger. In 1997 a remake of Vanishing Point starred a white '70 Challenger as the main character. In 2007 the move Death Proof also featured and referenced the alpine white Challenger R/T as one of the greatest car chase movies that has ever been filmed.
The cabin features high-back bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl along with a matching headliner, dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Woodgrain trim extends from the dashboard to the center console and door panels, and features include a custom 6-speed pistol-grip shifter, RetroSound radio, and Vintage Air. The woodgrain rim-blow steering wheel frames the Dakota Digital gauges instrumentation including a 150-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, a combination gauge, and a clock. The five-digit odometer shows 320 miles. Just imagine you are Kowalski who was hired to transport this amazing Dodge Challenger from Colorado to California, in just two days. "Hey Kowalski, you out there"?
The exterior is finished in Alpine White (W1) and let me tell you, there was NO expense spared on the paint throughout the restoration. It features all the correct Challenger and R/T badging. There isn't a scratch on this vehicle, it's so clean, you could eat off it! She rides on modern 17-inch Rallye wheels with Nitto tires.
The custom 485 HP Challenger is powered by a crate 392ci 6.4-liter HEMI engine backed by a Silver Sport T56 6-speed manual transmission. It has a built Chrysler 8.75-inch rear end with 3.55 gears and Moser axles. The Challenger is equipped with a Reilly Motorsports tubular front-end kit with rack and pinion steering and a 4-link rear setup with RideTech coilovers all the way around. It stops with Wilwood 6-piston front calipers and 4-piston rears. Additional features include an Aeromotive fuel system, custom exhaust with MagnaFlow mufflers, Holley Retro bright headlights, power brakes, power steering and power windows.
Don't miss out on owning this gorgeous rotisserie restoration 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T. Super Soul said "This radio station was named Kowalski, in honour of the last American hero to whom speed means freedom of the soul. The question is not when's he gonna stop, but who is gonna stop him". Call Classic Car Addict today at 480-256-1459.

This is very close to my 70 Challenger. I have owned it since 79. Mine is exactly body wise. PW7 Bright White. The exact wheel combination. 17” Year One replicas with 555 Nittos. Mine has a built 340 with a 727 Torqueflite. Same Classic Industries 70 black interior. I also have an 8 3/4 rear end. But my suspension is stock heavy duty. Factory front disks. Nice video and very nice automobile.
