My ZERO 9 would not be left unattended yesterday by UPS delivery. I can’t blame them on the other hand I am chomping at the bit getting my new Zero 9 delivered today or I’ll go pick her up!

I’ve got the Zero 8.
Its electrifying! I highly recommend it. I have the Xiaomi Pro too which is nice and easy to carry but the Zero 8 is a beast only a little heavier and better range and speed with suspension.

Wow, my Glion does not make sounds nearly that bad. Almost sounds like the kick stand is scraping along the ground.

I just got an Apollo City as an upgrade 2 days ago as of this posting. Loving it so far.
I love my Glion. It's size, weight, confidence in not getting a flat. And of course, that one of a kind insane dolly function and the ability to stand upright on it's rear tire when folded. Making a nice small footprint on a crowded subway train.
My only gripe was it's speed. I really wish it could of gone 3-4 mph faster.
The Apollo has been pretty sweet so far. It is an almost identical variant of the Zero 9.

(In fact it is a Zero 9, with blue highlights instead of red and Apollo branding. Built by the same manufacturer of the Zero 9, Turbowheel Dart and others.)

Seller had it for $100 less than the Zero with extra accessories. I'm still getting use to the +10 pounds over the Glion it has but it's fine. The speed is awesome and the ride on those two air filled tires and dual suspension is quite cushy compared to the two solid tires and front suspension on the Glion.
(I am thinking of switching the rear tire on the Apollo to solid though to increase my riding confidence. )

Daughter is already asking for the Glion. Note sure I wanna give it up yet. I've put alot of commuter miles on it and it is still going strong. Even pimped it out with a couple of LED strips that come on with the head light.
Once you do that to a scooter, makes it harder to part with it.

Have the Zero 9, got it for like 750$ from a local dealer. It's an amazing scooter. I've ridden some other scooters, for example Xiaomi mi365 which is a toy, it can be use on a sunny Sunday for a roll in a park. On the other hand, the zero 9, it's sturdy, the shocks are doing their job as intended, powerful breaks (it will flip forward if you don't lean backwards when hard breaking), nice powerful motor, my top speed for my weight, 185 pounds, in a straight line was 26 mph, which is pretty damn fast for a kick scooter. The range i have is around 21 miles, give or take, depending of the way i ride it. In conclusion, worth every penny and my advice, go for something premium if you want to commute.

My wish list: 8-9 inch width decks as an option for guys with big feet. Also, optional roller kits for easier transporting heavier scooters like the two Zeros. Finally, web sites that list all accessories, full specs, replacement parts( full list of), and honest speed ranges under varying conditions. Good comparison video but I think your dog stole the show! Keep em coming, dude!

I really appreciate this review as i've been struggling to decide which scooter would be best for me. I am stuck between the zoom stryder and the zero 8, and possibly the ecoreco L5. the zero has all the qualities that i prefer but i just love how lightweight the zoom is.

I recently got my Zero 8, super happy with it, didn't see any reason to opt for the 9. Was surprised to see how many versions there were for the Zero 8, a 350watt 10ah version, and then a 500watt 13 and 16Ah, I bought the 16ah version for about 980 euro's in Belgium, and one thing i found odd was the fact that the scooter only want at a max of 20km/h. I had to open up the bottom cable and cut a white wire before I could enjoy the full capabilities of the scooter. Still super awesome device, thanks for all the info Jim, thanks to you I was convinced of buying this one :)

Best scooter comparison video that I've seen. The word is customizationabilityready. Chloe is getting quite a reputation as the premier scooter dog. Thanks Jim for your easy-going reviews!

Just bought a tianrun electric scooter off amazon with a coupon it was just $201 that is including the 2 year extended warranty from tradesquare. It has a lot of compromises but some really good qualities as well so i am hoping it will be a nice lightweight alternative when i do not feel like carrying my Qiewa q1 up and down the stairs. Tianrun is just 16 pounds. If your interested I'll let you know how it is for the money when it arrives next week.

Really great reviews. You can see that each scooter shines in their own areas. I would really like the power of the Zeros but then again the Zoom is just great on the trains. A scooter I would like you to review with your extrnsive experience is the Widewheel with dual motors (500w + 500w). Another one is the Inboard Glider, which there seems to be no reviews from at all. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for scooter reviews. Sub'd, and I ordered a Zero 9 using your discount code. Thank you!

Things I don't like:
1) Battery life expectancy and cost to replace batteries
2) Warranty repairs and out of warranty repairs may be costly due to lack of local repair facilities.
3) Poor customer service (Rev Rides seems promising)
4) Longevity of scooter due to build quality and battery life (#1 above)

I'll probably end up with the Zero 8, however, the battery replacement costs is a difficult pill to swallow, especially since my commute is only 1/4 mile each way.

My joyer front tire popped while riding. I had a shoulder injury and big gash on my eye brow from sun glasses.
I will buy only solid tire.

Good job on this! Which of these scooters is the most comfortable to ride? and which you like the most?
