I leave the sims open for five minutes and go to get a snack and come back and my pet has died, the toddler has been taken away, the house is on fire, the cat is pregnant, and my sim has managed to meet 8 celebrities, become best friends with them, marry one of them, get pregnant, give birth, the kid has grown up, move houses, live their whole lives, die, and I come back from getting said snack, and see the absolute despair that they have implanted on their own lives.
