Preparations are underway for President Biden’s first State of the Union address with enhanced police presence out of an abundance of caution. NBC News’ Leigh Ann Caldwell reports from Capitol Hill on how Biden’s address comes as his approval ratings sink.

2. Highest gas prices in history - $6.50 in Los Angeles
3. Highest crime in the past 40 years
4. More illegal crossings than in the past 30 years
5. Taliban is back and far more powerful than it was in 2001, they were given American weapons
6. Biggest conflict in Europe since WWII
7. Americans in Ukraine and Afghanistan are stranded with no help from their government
8. No legislation has been passed in a year despite one party controlling 3 branches
9. Police reform and criminal justice reform have not even been talked about, despite being a major promise from this administration after George Floyd
10. More Covid deaths in 2021 than 2020 despite having a vaccine and promising to handle the virus

In any grading system, that performance is a flat out failure. Absolutely pathetic.

The leadership in the White House has been atrocious over the past year. Foreign affairs are a mess, inflation is crippling the middle class and the poor, and it's only going to get worse as this year rolls on. We are probably heading to another recession.
