As long as the rules apply to EVERYONE! I want the same energy kept for the jeeps with the doors off as it is for the cars with the rattling trunks.

Engines/Exhaust noise are much more of a problem. Particularly from motorcycles trucks hondas and muscle cars on south side blvd.

Give me a break, stop the speeding, solve crimes, work with the homeless.
Do your job fighting real crime. afraid to pull over people speeding so now we will pick on this group. Quit bugging people and fight real crime.

Another reason to harass people, there’s so much other more important “crime” going on in Jacksonville but they’re concerned about music being to loud. Smh 🤦🏽‍♀️

They need 2 stop these murders instead of worrying about music focus on unsolved murders and crimes n Jacksonville putting unnecessary energy into the wrong thing music is not a crime 😡🤬🗣

"Please stop peeing on my leg and telling me it's raining." Completely unenforceable and clearly insulting to our intelligence.

I have my radio loud everyday! Love it loud!

If playing loud music contributed to Jacksonville's soaring murder rate, I could see the point to using the police's time and resources to this matter.

Why doesn't JSO worry about the actual crime in this city and training their officers properly?

Here's a crazy idea, forget about the radios and pull over some of the reckless drivers....

I just moved to the downtown area. I knew that it would be louder here, which really doesn't bother me during the day. What really gets me is when the music is so loud that my family can hear it through my apartment windows that are closed after like 10 or 11pm, when my kids are asleep. My toddler has told me she is scared before because people zoom on by in a 30 mph with a loud muffler and loud music at night. I feel like it would be better if there was just a rule at night time. Play your music as loud as you want during the day- who cares. But I do hope it gets enforced for ALL people, and not just for a few.

After midnight when people are trying to sleep is the worst!

I love how you guys showed a Black Man after stating you all were “targeting a specific group of drivers”, like White people and everybody else don’t drive around with their music blaring. 🤨

I can’t wait to see someone go to court and challenge the legality of this law and how little proof there would be. Are cops going to start carrying devices to tell the sound limits then use that in proof in court? Because if not then what is stopping someone from saying no your wrong it couldn’t be heard 25 ft away and prove me wrong if I’m wrong.
