Violin Lessons for Kids 18 Months to 3 Years Old | Lesson #1 | Certified Suzuki Violin Teacher

This video begins a series of lessons for parents who want to teach their kids from 18 months to 3 years old how to play violin. As a certified Suzuki violin teacher, I walk through 2 important steps to begin your child's journey with the violin.

1. Expose your child to music frequently and repeatedly: sing, dance, play your own instrument, etc. - - The more, the better!
- As they become more familiar, they will be more excited to play those songs on their violin
- This will give your child the chance to get comfortable with the violin and learn the basics before investing in a real instrument.
- No need to stress about damage control with this little thing!
- Gives kids the chance to walk around with it and pretend to play it
