Algebra 1 Regents Review (Part A June 2019)

NOTE: the symbol for standard deviation in your graphing calculator when you press 1-Var Stats is σx NOT the x with a hat. Once again to calculate standard deviation press [stat] press [edit] enter all of your data points then press [stat] again press the right arrow to the [calc] section/menu then scroll down to where it says 1-Var Stats and press enter, press enter and calculate. You can then see the σx or standard deviation!

I have a question so for number 13 13:58, why can't u -2a on both sides instead because it's smaller than 3. If I did do that would it effect my answer? Because I just tried it and I still got the same answer I just hope when it comes to showing work I didn't do something incorrectly to make me lose points.
