My new album (including this song) is out today! Here's the inspiration behind Two Faced.

I’ve tried to keep up appearances for the majority of my life. I never let my friends see me cry. I slap on a smile when I’m feeling awful. I’ve also practiced smiling in the mirror, just like the girl in that one freaky episode of Black Mirror.

After my breakup, I got tired of pretending. I realized that there was no point in acting like I was okay, and that no one was expecting me to. I also realized that you build stronger bonds with others when you’re honest about how you feel. Often times I still forget, and I end up hiding my emotions again. Living in a world dominated by social media challenges you to live authentically. I’m learning to unlearn the behaviors of my past, and instead be more open about my feelings.

This song is a representation of my old self. A brand new Rosendale is coming. I don’t know exactly when, but he’s coming. I promise.

I feel bad for those who feel like they have to act alright all the time or be someone else just for the sake of likes or others love. All that matters is that you are happy with who you are and you don’t let get mean or negative peer pressure get to you. Love yourself for who you are but do realize when you are in the wrong, don’t bully yourself for it just try your best the next time. Mistakes happen, we are humans, we aren’t perfect. Let yourself cry when you feel bad, show your happy moments when being proud, and be who you want to be.

As one of these people my self reading through some of the comments I see multiple people say they feel bad and stuff so here’s some tips to notice people like this and maybe help them out a little from my personal experience in being one and some of my friends being them as well how to spot them
1. If it’s due to bad depression probably dark and sarcastic humor
2. They don’t care anymore most will just agree to stay out of an agreement
3. When asked how they fell or are they say there fine or good but they definitely aren’t
4. Sleep deprived
5. There the ones that act always happy and jokes about anything and everything they seem the happiest but they really aren’t
How to help
1. Let them vent
2. Persistently ask how they are throw out the day they probably will cave if it’s not to late
3. Talk plainly get them to say what’s on there chest THEY WILL FELL BETTER AFTER
4. Give them a reason to be happy and have a good time
5. Do it before it’s to late because it’s practically reversible if it’s to late don’t let them become like me and many many others
