How to Replace Valve Cover Gaskets 2009-2019 Ford Flex

This video shows you how to install a new set of valve cover gaskets from TRQ on your 2009-2019 Ford Flex. Valve covers will begin to leak oil when the seals eventually break down. A new valve cover gasket set will make sure the oil stays inside the engine where it belongs!

This repair was done on a 2013 Ford Flex SEL 3.5L Sport Utility 4-Door AWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

Working on mine now, Aluminum valve covers and lower intake, 1 less intake bolt too. 2009 Ford Flex, 3.5 AWD NA Built 08-2008. I keep finding stuff on mine nobody else seems to have????

Where did you purchase the torque wrench

Make sure to back the new gaskets when you pound them in. I cracked my original valve cover and had to order replacement. Rockauto had one that already had everything installed and it was very reasonably priced.
