Actual good tips for once! Been using direct wave for over 10 years now as my go-to sampler. You can even split the keyboard for multisampling (have a different sample for different keys/regions) or have different samples for different velocities. Really powerful and underrated plugin

I usually load different oneshots into basic default samplers, then route them to mixer tracks and use MIDI out to play all them at once

fl has many stock plugins that are slept on. convoler is one of the best stock reverbs, FLEX is amazing drum machine. and the list goes on and on
