Thank you so much for your videos. I hope you do continue. I thoroughly enjoy them. I would be glad to stitch something for you. As long as there aren’t any specialty stitches, not very good at those I still store my thread, DMC on the happens in little plastic containers.

Hey Penny, Love your videos! Thanks for taking your time to get everything ready, showing everything you have done and are doing and getting ready to do. Love seeing Beau! I am very old school, I store my floss in small floss bags and then put so many on an O ring and store them in storage boxes! I keep a spreadsheet of all my threads so that I know what I have and don't have. I like the clear bags so I can see the color. This works well for me. Thanks again!!

Hi Penny. Thank you for another great floss tube and for showing your fur baby Beau. I'm sure getting ready for the videos does take a lot of work, but it is much appreciated by those of us who watch them. My storage organization is a little time consuming but once done I love it. I use the plastic bobbins. I punch about 3 holes in a row on the bottom of the plastic bobbin that I will use to pull my floss thru. I cut the DMC number off the paper holding the floss and tape it to the front of the bobbin. Then, taking the floss, I put both ends together and continue to go end to end until about 18 inches long with the last fold. I then pull the thread where the last fold was and pull that thru the bottom holes using a slip knot to tie it on. With the ends left hanging, I just cut through the end loops. Each piece will then be about 36 inches long. I attach them numerically to a 3-inch binder ring and then clip them to a plastic clothes hanger and hang them in my closet. Now when I need a certain number I can just go to the hanger and remove the ring that contains the number I need. This keeps the floss hanging straight and no kinks from being wrapped on the bobbin. See I told you it is a little time consuming but so much better than wrapping and having all those plastic storage cases. I have every regular DMC floss they make. I have 5 binder rings clipped on each hanger for a total of just 5 plastic hangers that would be hanging in my closet anyways. I have a few overdyed flosses too that are contained on one hanger the same way only alphabetically by color name. Hope this helps. I'm sure not everyone will want to take the time to do this, but I love it. When I do a project, I use the smaller binder rings to slip the bobbins on that I will need and put them in the project bag.

I use plastic cases to store my floss. Think they should be for fishing lures 😂 but serve my purpose. Then I stack them in shelf cubby holes. Your fur baby is a lap full. 💕 You were busy dodging rain for all those weddings for sure, but where there is a will there is a way.
