For any new Braum players. Put everything into W & E and eventually R. Q is only a CC tool for peel and engage, I never put more than 2 into Q and it's busted. You'll be so valuable playing Braum as intended, to make heroic saves, blocks, dives and team stuns. Stay alive, feel the power. Deadman's Plate and you're the craziest tank in the game to deal with since you'll always have fantastic positioning.

To answer your question on why no one plays Braum I have a few answers:
1: Mages are absolutely everywhere and that's not a fun time for mustache bro considering how hard he can get shut down with poke
2: Braum is like Yummi who didn't skip leg day, he needs a carry to work with and to get his stuns going and doing some actual damage, especially since his kit is revolving around peel and tanking for allies over engage or raw damage so in soloqueue that's a coin flip, granted it's definitely easier to carry on Braum and make plays than on Yummi.
3: People prefer flashy engage champs like Leona who lands 5 man ults or just 1 v 5 as Nautilus or, you know, play a mage and pretend you're supporting your carry. After all they can't kill your carry if they're dead. Who wants to actually babysit a potentially toxic asshole who feeds by tanking their mistakes and getting flamed for dying. Take your Ezreal and Akshan for examples

Also I love braum so much but he's been lackluster most of the season. He's had enough buffs recently though that he can carry bot now so I'm happy.

I really enjoy playing Akshan mid, and I usually get pretty ahead, but the issues I find is that I can't really do much by mid game since I he doesn't have much burst or range, and by late game I've fallen off completely.

I think Braum isn't popular since he's not as fun as other tank champions. But I think he's always pretty strong especially with adcs that use his passive really well.

All this game showed me is that zed does stupid damage early and it is so easy for a diana to go from 2/0 to 2/3 if you dont play smart.

i use to perma ban braum when he was new, hated fighting him due to the freeze and how thicc he is
