Electric Rail Bike - Drone shots

This is a short 3 minute drone clips from my 120 mile electric rail bike ride down the California central coast.
The DJI drone is using the follow and parallel tracking modes to follow me on the tracks and trails.

How long does a well maintained bicycle last?
How long a does a well maintained rail line last?
Alot longer than asphalt roads and internal combustion engines. And alot less raw materials overall to build and maintain them.
What a fantastic thing you've done here.
I don't think I could overstate this.
But I'm trying really hard too haha.

That rail-bike is a work of artful engineering, the way it conveniently adapts from rail to trail or road. Outstanding filmography too! I adapted a bicycle to serve as a rail-bike but it was crudely done with lawnmower guide wheels, a framework of 2x4's clamped to the frame and extending in front, angle iron for the outrigger with a modified hubcap for the wheel flange.

I grew up in Santa Cruz during the 60's and 70's...very cool to see some of my favorite areas. Lived near the tracks off 30th avenue. A lot has changed since then but still a beautiful area. Great video, editing, drone, narration! New sub.

There's a lot of skills on display in this short vid. Engineering, photography/drone operating, riding ability, and great choice of location and music. The ebike build even without the rail attachments looks very interesting and high performance. Look forward to any more content from Mr Cam.

Cameron, just visited Panther beach for sunset, went out for sunset, crossed the tracks where you jumped off to go out to the end of that rock outcrop; damn its steep there, bet you were careful turning around, what a great video, still watching your awesome long version!

You did so amazing building the bike and taking the trip. I've been thinking about this all day since I watch your video. I think that was so cool. Your bite look like it has some power. It turns those big tires through the sand like nothing. Raise your seat up a little bit higher. I think he'd be more comfortable. But what do I know? I couldn't have created anything like this
