That moment just shows how much fear Dagget had once Bane asked him that question. Bane didn't even grab his shoulder he put his hand on it and immediately won the battle.

When Bane rested his hand on Daggett's shoulder, it sent a shiver through my spine. It was so simple, yet so perfectly well done. After reading some articles online, I found out that that exact part wasn't in the original script, but Tom Hardy did it during the take and Christopher Nolan loved it so he kept it in.

"Speak of the Devil and he shall appear!" one of the best lines ever in a movie. And Bane just showing up like that too. That fucking huge monster. Instant classic.

Do you feel in charge…? The look Daggett gives him is pure gold, instant submission. Superb acting and I don’t care what anyone says this is a good ending to the Nolan Batman films.

Good lord, I love everything about this scene so much. I even just noticed the "speak of the devil, and he shall appear". gosh, I love Tom Hardy's Bane so much. And the whole "do you feel in charge?", oh goodness I love it. It just shows that Bane, that some men, cannot be controlled. And while the Joker showed us that some men can't be reasoned with, because they have no reason, Bane shows us that some men, simply refuse to be dominated. Goosebumps yo.

The way Bane puts his hand on Daggets shoulder is so intimidating. I have no idea why. Maybe because Bane kinda said with that move "I could have killed you right there, you mean nothing to me". Really powerful stuff. Maybe would not have been as intimidating if he had grabbed his shoulder with his fingers. He just rests his hand there gently.
