I enjoy your UTube videos. I am 81 years old and just retired last March. Always had trouble with my swing plane. After watching your videos, I have focused on a swing plane similar to yours and it has helped me. Thank you for contributing to the success of the average golfer, including myself. Edward

Thanks for this. I watched Eric's lesson previously but it didn't really register. Watching your summary really made it click for me. Cheers

Spot on. I was a long term swayer and then of course, an over the top swinger, until I figured this hip thing out. Wish I had been told this years ago. Now my weight stays more on my lead leg thru both my back swing and then even more as I transition into my turn back to the ball. It feels like stepping into the strike, without actually making the step. Has added distance as well. Thanks, Andy!

I don't sway but not realigning towards lead foot has meant I rarely hit the best I could consistently. I have been trying to get a consistent feeling for this move and this looks promising. Will try this out later!

Great content, man. Good to see a fellow average golfer try this out. We have the same problem; this causes me to swing from the backfoot a lot of times and play catch up with the pressure shift (hitting fats and thins). Eric Cogorno's one of my faves too, btw.

That’s a classic stack and tilt move. 60% weight on the front leg and keep it there through the swing and ending up on the front leg with 90% of the weight.

On the other hand, why stick your right elbow on the way up and not take advantage of its elasticity on the way back. When you throw a ball your right elbow is not stuck, it becomes wider for maximum power, right?

I question move towards left foot. Leads to fat shots it you don’t get back forward. I like first few inches to just be with hands, and then simple turn hips back and raise arms. Keep you centered and all you have to do then it is to turn through it. Works with ever club

Rear hip should turn upwards (right handed golfer) as the best golf coach says MR PETE COWEN!!! No quick fixes only hard works creates a better golf swing . Most quick fixes cure a fault with a fault..
Learn from the best, PETE COWEN
