Employee expectations have shifted rapidly in recent years, emphasizing an employer's responsibility to the well-being of their workforce. According to MHA’s Mind the Workplace 2022 Report, rates of workplace stress and distraction remain high as 7 in 10 employees report increased distraction at work, and 3 in 5 employees report seeking other professional opportunities. Presented by the National Organization on Disability (NOD) and Mental Health America (MHA), we will explore the latest research on the national employee mental health landscape and how workplaces can meaningfully support employee mental health in 2022.

Objectives for the discussion include:
- Introduce MHA’s and NODS’ approach and philosophy to workplace health
- Discuss the current national landscape of employee mental health and well-being
- Examine which workplace factors have the greatest impact on mental health outcomes

Presenters:
Taylor Adams, Director, Workplace Mental Health, Mental Health America
Felicia Nurmsen, Managing Director of Employee Services, National Organization on Disability
