In this video we take an in depth look at the Senville Aura 24000BTU Mini Split Air Conditioner and Inverter Heat Pump. This video includes the full install process and an overview of the features. This was very simple to install. Mini Splits have certain advantages over traditional AC and Heat Pump units. They are more efficient as they can maintain air temps on a per room basis. The Aura Mini Split can heat or cool a room in minutes vs hours compared to a traditional unit. This also helps to save energy and cost.

This video is a glorified advertisement, it shouldn't claim it helps with the install. It's a waste of time if you're looking for technical information to complete the install. Change the title to represent what this video really is...an infomercial

Didn't see you use any Nylog sealant on the Line Set Joints. I also didn't see the A/C technician vacuum the lines before releasing the refrigerant. Also did not see a Disconnect between the Fuse Panel and the Mini Split.

Did your HVAC friend vacuum the Lineset before releasing the refrigerant?

I'm looking at the 18, 000 BTU model, and have watched a lot of videos on its install, most videos I've seen Show you need you need a pump of some sort to pump out the air before you turn the Screw to let in the freon. I've never heard that they will not honor the warranty unless a licensed person does this?

My bracket level was off slightly. I recommend checking with another level.

problem with mini splits is life expectancy and not many HVAC tech's know how to work of them

There is no freon anymore.

when connecting the 220 electrical wires from the breaker, you connected a black and a white wire into the compressor - shouldn't you mark the white wire with red electrical tape to warn someone in the future that it is a hot wire?

just had my 24k BTU Aura installed today, installer said it was the physically largest 2 ton head he's ever seen. Still trying to figure out the swing angles and all that, I've got it sweeping up and down but don't know how to do the left right spread yet.

OK salesman. What happen if outdoor temp is -20 C for a good 2-3 weeks?

Isn't freon banned and replaced with a different refrigerant. Even 3rd world countries have banned it.

Wow those senvilles have such terrible build quality. The indoor heads electrical is so poorly designed, waste of money five or maybe less years down the road. Good luck getting anyone licensed to do repairs on that junk.

Releasing the Freon is so easy a toddler can do it. But they want you to pay a licensed electrician $12k to release it in the name of warranty? Most AC techs will tell you they can’t release Freon on a system they did not install. In other words that requirement is just foolishness. Fellows … just buy MrCool and forget about this drama.
