You can also see how the Bible highlights the cons of polygamy and the sins that the men and women commit within it. Such as jealousy, hate, etc. you can see how confusing it is for the men to handle all of those women.

God did not allow it. Polygamy is simply man made. That was why Jesus corrected it when He came. The word "allow" goes a long way. We must be careful using that word.

God didn't approved polygamy, He just didn't interfered it.

Yeah, polygamy is sin.

1 Corinthians 7:2 But because of immoralities, each man is to have his own wife, and each woman is to have her own husband.

Brilliant explanation, just because it was recorded in history in the Bible doesn’t mean God was pleased with it nor does He condone it. 👏🏽💯

You are reading more into the text than what is written. We know that Scripture should explain Scripture and that the Bible does not contradict itself. Unless you understand that Christ came to contradict the Father, you may have that point of view. However, your point of view is not supported by the Bible. You will find no commandment that condemns polygyny as a sin and where there is no sin there is no transgression. Nor will you find a punishment provision if a man marries more than one woman. In fact, in five instances God the Father refers to Him having two wives and He knows them by their names. (Jeremiah 3:6-10, Ezekiel 23:1-5, Jeremiah 31:31-34, Jeremiah 33:24 and Isaiah 54:5) We see God regulate plural marriage in Exodus 21:10 and commands marriage that may constitute polygyny in Deuteronomy 25:4-9. (Leverate Marriage). Leverate Marriage is constituted irrespective if the man was already married. (See the Book of Ruth).

We also see in 2 Samuel 12:8 that Father God stated that He would've given David more wives if he (David) asked for more. However, David took Uriah the Hittite’s wife and committed adultery. There are numerous more to share, if you are interested. These are only a few.

Glenn Braunstein in his introductory work on the subject: The Biblical Case for Polygamy: The Bible Texts, conservatively calculated the average amount of wives per household for the time. Keep in mind that these calculations do not distinguish between wives and concubines. It does not account for the amount of wives a man would have in serial monogamy. Despite the aforementioned, the average man had between 4-10 wives. This would further contradict the 'Original Intent Doctrine' regarding marriage in Genesis, as it is incommensurate with the Bible. One can then come to the conclusion that the union mentioned in Genesis refers only to the first marriage, but does not exclude subsequent marriages. The 'Original Intent Doctrine' has more holes in it than Swiss Cheese. Take care.

that's the compromise of mortality. wages of sin. two sides of a coin, good or bad intentions. humans🥴☘️

It follows that prostitution is perfectly fine with God if a woman has to choose between letting her family starve or having sex outside of marriage.

This is reality for women in many under developed countries. Morality is always subjective and always depends on the situation.
