Brilliant video guys. How's the, "you can tell by the way I use my walk I'm a woman's man no time to talk..." dude at 2:51 hahaha! I was still waiting for someone at the end there to come up and go, "hey someone just left their camera here", and run away with it. I hardly ever use my Rode video micro anymore (maybe as an atmos mic) and am always using my Rode wireless go. It's just so much easier as you demonstrated perfectly at 9:25. Great review and yes I totally agree, listen to the little channels for their honest reviews, they have nothing to gain. We're the ones that actually buy the stuff to review out of our own money. Thanks for sharing and good to see you both again.👍🙏

I always stock affordable wired lavs, but so far never use them while out-and-about.

Now, when I am doing scripted or interview - that is another story.

I was considering the deity duo for a bit... but I honestly don’t talk enough while filming because, as you say, I desire as much discreetness as possible... when I am walking backwards with a gimbal and waving the nervous person that it’s okay they keep walking in front of me. 🤷‍♂️

Keep making the videos and I promise I will as well. (Specially as it gets colder here and I won’t be getting out to shoot as much)

Thanks for this video. I’ve been debating on whether or not to get a wireless lapel system for my girlfriend & I. I heard Sony makes a really good quality one, but it’s about $1500 USD so I’ve been dragging my feet on getting it. I never looked into the Rode wireless lav system because someone at B&H photo told me that the Sony quality was far superior. Any thoughts on that?
