Turhan was really such a good person.She kept the other princes alive and later 2 of them became sultan. And others died naturally as prince. What ever she did to kosem because she knew the reality of her. During her regency she took advices from the vizirs not showing any arrogance. And after 5 years of her regency she retired. Because she knew that she was young, kinda uneducated and inexperienced about state affairs. She understood that if she keeps ruling the empire, it may fall.so she gave all her power to the grand vizir and didn't become a power hungry like kosem. Then she only ruled the harem and kept herself busy in architectural works rest of her life. That's why she wasn't powerful like the other sultans in sultanate of women even after getting the title of regent. But she was happy and loved by people in her life.

Always prefer turhan over kosem sultan. She did save the dynasty that was going to be destroyed due to the continuous changes in throne owner leaded by the greediness of kosem and kept her words by letting the other princes live by not killing them. Unlike kosem she had a good relationship with her son and she never tried to outrage her son in power.

Shame that they needed to demonise Kosem to make Turhan look better. In reality we have no evidence that Kosem wanted to murder Mehmed because this accusation was made after her death. However it is possible that Turhan decided to kill Kosem only because she was impatient to get more power, whick was bestowed upon Kosem against her will (she didn't want to became Buyuk Valide for Mehmed and she wanted to retire but pashas asked her to stay for a bit longer because Turhan was seen as too young and too inexperienced)
