A couple things I noticed since I work for Ram... This truck does come standard without air suspension, your tester just happened to have it. Also, there is now a Ram rebel 12 which is much more luxurious and features the 12" inch infotainment screen that everyone loves!

Constructive review from a Toyota guy -

A friend of mine picked up a rebel earlier this year and I've got to admit that it really stood apart. Luxurious, packed full of tech, and genuinely impressive on & off road. We took a trip to Blue Ridge, GA and we had nothing but good things to say by the end of it.

As for the cons, there's still a few hangups we couldn't get around. The first being a 3 week stay at the dealership for steering/suspension issues (somewhat expected for a new release). The engine shut-off is, and will continue to be, an infuriating feature on most new trucks with little fuel benefit. This of course brings up the question of longevity and reliability (you knew it was coming). Then there's resell and depreciation. It's incredibly disheartening to learn that the truck value plummets at such an alarming rate. Beyond the expected "new" depreciation factor that's expected on any new release, I can't help but question the KBB and NADA for how they evaluate these values. At any rate, I really enjoyed the truck. Look forward to watching the platform continue to grow.

Oddly, I had one of these (base model) earlier this week as a rental and gotta say, I was quite impressed with it and its interior. That thing handled like a car and the ride was so smooth. I've never considered myself a truck person, but damned if it didn't start finding its way onto my short list of potentials. Nice review and thanks for posting.

On of my favorite things about the Rebel has always been that the whole interior like the headliner being black. It makes it way cooler than that light brown in other cars and trucks.

I bought a 2020 Rebel with 12, 000 Miles and I love it. I don't have a sunroof but I have the black badging and side boxes
