Wow, I'm dress too much like the Nostalgia Crisis (unintentionally). Oh well. Maybe he'll never find me.

This month's fried philosophy (these are monthly now) is a quick look and reflection on the loaded, astonishing work by Derek Parfit called "Reasons & Persons". Specifically what he had to say about personal identity assuming we have no further fact of a soul, and what changes things for us all if it is true. Which is probably could be. Pretend to accept it for a second if you're sceptical.

Basically, it's a mind-blowing approach to ethics and you should read the whole thing. It's the best book I've read all year and the information within beckons me to a new need to be myself... in the future... still... relation.

I like this :) ghost in the shell movie is all about individuality.
1. religion like you said being connected with identity, as something divine to hold on to. 'your special your special your special' kinda deal. so do you have identity when science shows your different all the time?
2. Identity to me is 'a continuous feeling/s defining a singularity'. so because I'm yippy excited all the time, it is built into my identity.
3. your ridding of the ego to find your true self is cool :) when you lose your outside recourses motivating you to be a good person and your in the desert naked, you see your true self. happen to me and christy on the road, thankfully we were good ppl still :D

other then that, mic boy! you need a mic or closer or closed off room. I do like the cuts though, that was cool and fun. use morre hand movements, chalkboard in background, dress like a professor hahaha

So you dont know the Truth yet?
Well, Jesus Christ is the Truth, hell is real and very few people make it to heaven, they miss God. The fallen mind cannot comprehend essences.
