Cadillac is going all electric, but not quite yet. First, there's a refreshed version of the 2024 XT4 subcompact luxury crossover. But maybe "luxury" should be in quotes, because while there are a lot of premium features in this car, it's far from opulent. So let's poke around and see how the XT4 compares to the BMW X1, Audi Q3, and more.

My last three vehicles.. gla250, glc300, cla250… currently I drive the 2024 XT4…. Totally outclasses the Mercedes in every way.. fantastic vehicle… I recommend in a heartbeat…..don’t listen to the haters…

Bro you are harsh on every vehicle. This vehicle is the 2nd best selling vehicle in its class. The refresh that Cadillac gave this vehicle immediately pushes it towards the front of the segment. Cadillac offers ventilated seats in a subcompact!!! This vehicle is very attractive, appropriately priced, and has shown to be a best seller. I don’t think you did the baby Caddy any justice 😢

Build the XT5 and XT6 with this Lyriq interior and you’ll own the entire segment

They just redesigned the entire front fascia for the 2024 model year, not 6 years old anymore and it definitely doesn’t look it either

All Cadillacs are head turners. This is next level.

The headlight treatment is significantly different than the model that came out six years ago. It looks nothing like it.

He complains that heated seats aren’t standard in a XT4 while comparing to the BMW X1 that doesn’t offer standard heated seats either.

He claims “luxury” should be in quotation marks because this isn’t opulent enough. It has authentic stitched leather all over the interior, heated, ventilated, and massaging seats, and a 33-inch 9K resolution display with Google built-in. How is that not luxury?

He’s trying too hard to make this sound like a non-factor. A lot of these biased reviewers need to retire.

The Cadillac XT4 has no turbo lag that I can feel. Every other car that I test drove had turbo lag, whether short or long...Mercedes GLC300 (least turbo lag), BMW X3 (a little more turbo lag), Porsch Macan S (even more turbo lag), Honda (way too much turbo lag).

My other car is a 2017 Corvette Stingray in stickshift.

Just bought the GT4 here in China, it's only available here. Inside is similar to this but it's a coupe SUV..I think the design is much better than the XT4. Look it up! 😍

Here in the north east you need AWD. Maybe not in Southern California

Id much prefer the xt4 to the Lexus nx. The xt4 looks better than the nx inside and out, it drives better and it’s cheaper and the powertrains are more interesting. Who cares about fuel economy?

It’s a beautiful car. But my wife ordered a non-obligatory 2025 XT-4 but if they are truly cancelling the XT-4 after MY25, it only gets 23 mpg city for such a small vehicle, and requires premium fuel with Democrats still in office that love their $5 a gallon gas to push an agenda, ……then forget it. Factor in a small 2.0 mated to a turbo that’ll have to work extra hard to keep with her lead foot on starts and ramps.
If it’s not 87 gas V6 or 40mpg hybrid….just no.

I'd rather have a Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited than the XT4. Seriously. Has almost every tech and convenience item the Cadillac does, AWD, rides better, quieter, much better MPG, similar performance, better interior room, better cargo space, longer warranty and is much cheaper. Not telling someone that's shopping in the "premium" sub compact SUV class they should get a Hyundai instead, just pointing out how a marque like Cadillac has slipped over the years (and their sales show it).
