Growing up in the coffee-loving city of Portland, Oregon, Josh was surrounded by a community of passionate coffee enthusiasts who were experts in roasting some of the finest coffee beans in the country. It was here that he fell in love with the unique flavors of single origin beans and learned that when roasted to perfection, they could offer an incredible variety of tastes. His mission now is to explore different regions of the world to uncover the diverse flavors each has to offer and share this discovery with coffee lovers like you.

As for Paul, he initially viewed drinking bitter, black coffee as a rite of passage, but it wasn't until he moved to Portland that he realized coffee could be so much more than just bitter. He dived headfirst into the world of specialty coffee and today, he's the head roaster at Paperboy Roasting. His goal is to ensure that his customers always have access to flavorful coffee and never have to settle for a less satisfying coffee experience.

For both of us, owning our own coffee company has always been a dream, and we're here to make that dream a reality and do it the right way.
