Thanks for the informative videos Jon. Instead of taping your bottom weighted cage feeders, have you tried getting an old bike inner tube and cutting it into sections? The sections can then be pulled over the feeder body like a big wide elastic band. They don't come off and you can cut any width you want.

Thanks. Very useful for my current mission. I'm liking those matrix bullet feeders, but too many holes for my liking. Interesting to hear you mention alternatives to electrical tape. I found that taping up my feeder helped reduce my issues with smaller fish destroying my bait on the drop, but after a while, the water starts to peel the tape off, ruining the aerodynamics, creating a helicopter effect, and tangling my rigs. I was thinking fabric. Maybe buying some ladies tights, and making some sleeves with the material... If it doesn't work, I can always wear them, and show off my sexy legs on the bank ;)

hey jon, i thought i had plenty of feeders lol, the matrix boxes look like they hold more than my guru fusion boxes and i use 2 of them also, i might invest in a couple of them and look into a few of the horizons since ive mostly use quick change since i started feeder fishing again great video bud good luck at WA today 😉🎣

Hi Jon, looking for a bit of advice, I’ve recently just started course fishing and had a session fishing for bigger roach on a natural Loch/lake in Scotland using cage, open ended and window feeders. I’ve found the bites to be very tentative and had many line backs as I use the heli rig. Do you strike at line backs or wait for the bite to develop?

Won’t take you long to sort what feeders to use I do a lot of feeder fishing and have as many as I have pole floats not like it used to be the type of feeders sends me round the bend
