How to Uninstall a Microwave / Remove a Whirlpool Microwave Oven

For a variety of reasons, taking out an old microwave is a task you might face. How to remove the microwave may seem like a puzzle. In reality, knowing the steps to removing a microwave oven will take any mystery away and simplify the process.

If you are replacing your microwave and looking for a new one, I can say that this microwave, which is a Whirlpool, has lasted us 6 years and still is working fine. We are taking it out to go for a different look.

I was able to take the microwave oven out by myself, but the process of taking out the microwave oven ( which is make more awkward because of its position over the stove) would be easier with two people. As is typical with our channel, we found this to be a DIY project worth tackling! Removing a microwave oven can probably be done in an hour +/- (depending on your circumstances ).
