I would rather have a dispensery in my neighborhood than a liquor store.

The fact that alcohol is legal but a medicinal plant you grow in your garden isn't, is absolutely ridiculous.

It was made illegal based on lies, which makes those laws 100% Unconstitutional

If there's any drug we ought to be most concerned about kids getting hooked on, it's SUGAR.

You know marijuana is popular, when Fox News is actively supporting its legalization at the federal level. Most Republican voters want legal weed, but we're stuck with a bunch of older Republicans in Congress who not only don't want legalization, but actively supported its criminalization in the decades prior.

I have a Commercial Truck Drivers license and get randomly tested for drugs including weed. It makes me furious to see all these young people getting their debts paid, and free money and they can get high whenever they want but as a working man i cant burn one on the weekend for fear of losing my job. Kind of backwards if you ask me.

The real question is,
Does the federal government want to stop making money off of marijuana arrests?

My fellow American marijuana peoples ❤ we know it’s long overdue and it should of never been illegal in the first place. 😊

Because of federal law, I, as a Michigan medical marijuana patient and caregiver, can neither purchase or possess a firearm to protect myself and my family. This law violates my constitutional rights as an American citizen who was born here, and with no felonies on my record. I pray that our government comes to their senses on this matter quickly and righteously.

I would love to be able to get a good paying job without worrying about random drug testing. I’m not lazy, I’m held back by outdated prohibition laws.

I'm in Michigan where it's legal for recreational use. I'm also 62. For the last 4 years I got back into smoking weed every day. Since then, I have not had even a single cold. I will continue to smoke all day, every day, and I will live to be 100....and happy.

Pot is a lot safer than harmful substances and alcohol.

Keeping marijuana illegal on the federal level just hurts jobs

The government needs to quit thinking of how it can be taxed. Let people grow their own, and let farmers grow Hemp. Let's take it back to a time before government got involved, it doesn't have to have its fingers in everything.

We should legalize it. Its common sense, we also need to release everyone who is currently in prison for any weed related sentence

No one can argue that having it illegal is working.

Lots of reasons to legalize cannabis. Colorado has been legalized since 2012 so there is a decade of data on the pros and cons. But just the savings of time and money to the police and court systems in processing cannabis offenders ought to be convincing to those interested in reducing government spending.
